Where to Look First
The right office depends on the kind of record or custody question.
- For someone in the county jail, start with jail inmate records and then call the jail line if the roster is unclear.
- For booking photos, use jail roster mugshots and the sheriff records process when a photo is not public online.
- For charges filed after booking, use court records after a jail arrest and the Clerk of Superior Court.
- For a facility address, use the Bartow County Jail page listed in the footer.
- For a sentenced state prisoner, use the Georgia Department of Corrections offender locator.
- For a federal or immigration detainee, use the BOP locator or ICE ODLS.
Court Record Contacts
Jail records and court records are not the same. Bartow court records for criminal case filings, dispositions, and certified copies are routed through the courthouse offices, not the sheriff roster.

State and Federal Custody
After sentencing or transfer, a Bartow arrest may no longer appear as current county custody. Use the Georgia Department of Corrections Find an Offender service for state custody, the Federal Bureau of Prisons locator for federal inmates, and ICE ODLS for immigration custody. Georgia VINE/Victim Information Program notifications are available through the statewide system and hotline 1-800-593-9474.
